The WACE Secretariat is very excited for the 16th World Conference in Vancouver, Canada, occuring from June 23-26, 2009 at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre! With over 400 international delegates from 22 countries, this event is sure to be a monumental global event.

If you are presenting, please have your presentations ready on a USB stick on bring them to the "speaker ready room," which is Gulf Room A. The "speaker ready room" will be open Tuesday, June 23 - Friday, June 26.

Please bring them at least one day before your scheduled presentation (i.e., not immediately before your presentation).

Please note that when you register at the WACE registration table, you will receive your World Conference tote bag, which will include the Program of Events. In the Program of Events are maps of the Sheraton, which will make finding the Gulf Room A (and your presentation room(s)) uncomplicated. Your presentation file(s) will then be loaded onto a computer, where a technician will test the presentation(s) and send it/them to the appropriate room(s), whether it be plenary or concurrent. Each concurrent session room will be equipped with a laptop, LCD projector, and a screen for your power point presentation(s). We are very fortunate to have volunteer students from British Columbia area Universities as our technical support in the concurrent session rooms, so please feel free to ask these technicians any questions that you may have.
