TRAINING & CONSULTING

The WACE Training and Consulting System is an innovative training and consulting program designed to provide a service to its members and potential members. Its primary focus is to provide the necessary information and support to help in the successful implementation of domestic or international work-integrated learning programs or to improve upon existing programs.

The WACE Training and Consulting System consists of two main tracks:

• Developing and implementing work-integrated learning programs, directed towards participants who have little or no work-integrated learning experience.
• Implementing international work-integrated learning programs, directed towards institutions who wish to expand their existing co-op program to include overseas placements.

The WACE Training and Consulting System is delivered in several ways:

• Individual training or consulting sessions. Sessions can be presented at an individual sponsoring institution. The topics of these sessions can be tailored to suit the needs of the participating individuals.
• Conference training sessions. Sessions can be presented in pre-conference workshops in affiliation with larger conferences hosted by regional, national or international associations.
• Virtual workshops. Sessions can be presented live to participating individuals' computers, thereby providing a very cost-effective means to deliver services to members located around the world.
