Research Workshop |
Workshop: Using data and research to measure the impact(s) of WIL programs All global quality WIL frameworks identify the need to measure outcomes/impact of WIL. These outcomes/impacts differ for WIL stakeholders, for example:
This hands-on workshop will equip participants to understand what data is needed, or research available, to measure the outcomes/impacts of interest. Participants will design a research project aligned with their interests. Participants will have the opportunity to collaborate with others or work independently. A further outcome from the workshop is to identify some common global themes that emerge for further exploration by the WACE IRC. This workshop welcomes new as well as experienced researchers, and those who would like to know more about gathering evidence to answer important program questions. The workshop will take place Tuesday, June 11, 2024 in Trollhättan, Sweden from 9:00am to 12:00pm, followed by lunch from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. This workshop will be facilitated by Dr. Norah McRae and Dr. Sonia Ferns.
